About
The St. Madoc Centre is the perfect location for your group. We are based on the coast of the Gower Peninsula, Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With our bunkhouse style accommodation we want groups to engage with nature.
We can accommodate up to 80 guests within 10 dormitory style bedrooms, all with ensuite toilet/shower facilities. It also has a large recreational/dining room, a smaller dining room and commercial kitchens. Close to our main accommodation building we have a large sports hall, tennis court, sports field and woodland. Broughton Beach and Whitford Sands are only a short walk from the Centre.
The St Madoc Centre is a hub for giving children and young adults a place to enjoy and come together. Based in our bunkhouse style accommodation, we want groups to relax and engage with nature in our woodland, to feel freedom on the beach and to revel in the night sky around the fire pit. We offer these options:
1. A Schools residential programme where pupils enjoy a range of activities provided by both St Madoc Centre staff and our partners at Gower Adventures. Activities take place onsite and in the surrounding countryside. This is on a full board basis with fresh homemade meals created daily to give pupils and teachers all the energy they need for an action-packed stay.
2. Self-Catered accommodation for church, youth, sports or family groups to enjoy the site.
3. Venue Hire for events such a wedding reception, memorial services, birthdays etc.
