Illyria brings Shakespeare's As You Like It to the stunning setting of Oystermouth Castle for a magical evening of outdoor theatre. Join us at 7pm on 25 August 2026 for this timeless romantic comedy under the open sky.

About the show:

Four pairs of soulmates meet in the Forest of Arden. One pair leap straight into bed. Another is instantly struck by each other's beauty. The third torment each other. But the fourth enjoy a courtship that is so witty and playful that love itself is stretched to the limit.

This performance is presented by Swansea Council in association with Day's Peugeot.

Our historic castle provides a stunning backdrop for outdoor theatre. Bring your own chairs, blankets, food, and drinks, and settle in for a relaxed evening under the open sky. Food and drinks will also be available to purchase, along with deckchairs available for hire.
