Science Fiction Filmmaking Workshop (Ages 7–11)
Led by Rhys Bebb – Education and Training Manager, Screen Alliance Wales

Calling all young sci-fi fans and future filmmakers! Join us for an exciting 3-session workshop where you'll dream up your own science fiction story and bring it to life on screen using real filmmaking techniques.

Over three fun-packed sessions:

Session 1 – In the first session we will be going discussing ideas and examples for visual effects from major films, and looking at what part they play in the story.  Working within the location of the workshop, we will be developing a short story based at the venue.

Session 2 – will be discussing camera shots and techniques, learning how to use them to help tell their story before filming the footage itself.

Session 3 – will allow participants to get hands on in emulating the shots they’ve seen at the cinema and incorporate into their own project, as well as other editing tips and tricks.

🎥 Only 15 places available – book early!
No experience needed, just creativity and a love for movies.

Tickets are for all 3 days and are booked online below
