Delwyn Siôn is a Welsh singer-songwriter from Aberdare who has been a significant figure in Welsh-language contemporary music since the 1970s. He first gained recognition as a member of the band Hergest before establishing a long-running solo career. His melodic, heartfelt songs explore Welsh identity, the communities of the South Wales Valleys, social justice and global issues. Among his best-known works is 'Un Seren', which has become a much-loved Welsh-language Christmas song.
