Menter Iaith Abertawe, The Bunkhouse, and the Swansea University Welsh Language Society present a night of young Welsh language artists ✨

Alis Glyn is a Welsh-language pop artist whose music combines melodic songwriting with a modern, understated sound. Signed to Côsh Records, Alis has released a growing catalogue of singles alongside her 2023 EP ‘Pwy Wyt Ti?’, establishing herself as one of the emerging voices in contemporary Welsh music.

Dadleoli are a young Cardiff-based band known for catchy melodies, sharp riffs and fresh lyrics reflecting contemporary Welsh youth. Formed through Tafwyl’s ‘Yn Cyflwyno’ project in 2022, the five-piece have supported major Welsh acts before releasing their debut album, ‘Fy Myd Bach i’, in 2024.

Lafant are a Welsh-language rock trio from Pembrokeshire drawing on 60s British Invasion, 90s grunge, surf rock and Britpop. Formed in 2025, the band quickly built a reputation for energetic live performances before releasing their acclaimed debut album, ‘Segurdod’, on Fflach Cymunedol in 2026.

Penbleth are a five-piece Welsh-language indie-pop band led by the distinctive vocals of Pegi Wigley. Emerging onto the Welsh music scene in 2025, they have quickly built a reputation for lively, powerful performances, appearing at venues including Clwb Ifor Bach and Acapela, as well as the Cardiff Half Marathon stage.
