About

Gower Heritage Centre is a visitor attraction and rural life museum on the Gower Peninsula, based around a working 12th-century water mill. The 800-year-old corn and saw mill is powered by a traditional water wheel, giving a real sense of how local industry once worked.

On site you will find a front shop and café, craft workshops, children’s play areas, a poultry park, woollen mill and La Charrette cinema. Guided tours and blacksmith demonstrations bring the history to life, and a wide range of events runs throughout the year.

The centre suits families, school groups and anyone interested in rural Welsh heritage. It is a good option for a half-day visit in most weather. Check current opening times and events before travelling.
