Journey with us this Easter as we walk together; ascending Cefn Bryn and reflecting on Christ's resurrection, the movement from darkness to light, and the hope of new creation.
Our route takes us from St John the Baptist Church up onto the ridge, creating space to pause, reflect, and experience the physical and spiritual upward journey in community. Along the way, we'll consider themes of Easter, and take time to reflect upon scripture and have times of prayer.
What to Expect:
This is a strenuous walk, involving steep ascents and descents on rocky terrain that may be muddy depending on the weather. Please be mindful of your physical ability.
We recommend:
• Dressing in layers
• Wearing sturdy footwear
• Bringing a waterproof coat
• Carrying a water bottle
Who Is It For?
This event is suitable for all ages. Please note however that small children may find the hill difficult.
While the walk has a Christian focus, everyone is welcome—those of any faith or none. We simply ask that all who attend show respect for one another's beliefs.
There will be opportunities for reflection and optional sharing, but participation in discussions is entirely up to you.
