The 2026 Gower Walking Festival runs from Saturday 5 to Sunday 13 September and tickets are available from the website www.gowerwalkingfestival.uk.. 

An annual celebration of Gower, the Festival is designed to encourage people to appreciate the area’s unique landscape and rich heritage while enjoying the many benefits of walking.  

There are more than 35 walks in the programme ranging from strolls along the seafront to long ‘off the beaten track’ hikes.  Participants will discover the coastlines, flora and fauna, ancient and industrial history, be introduced to people from the past who helped to put Swansea on the map and, of course, fabulous views.  With familiar walks and a number of new routes, there is something for all interests and abilities.
