Exhibitions of medieval coin minting and history of coins, textiles and their manufacture, weaponry and where it’s used, arrow design and shooting, medieval music, various demonstrations of battle and you can try on various pieces of armour and weapons under the strict supervision of a warrior of the period, would you be brave enough to challenge a medieval warrior!

The warriors battle using all the medieval weaponry at their disposal including various swords, spears, axes, longbows and much more, with displays of weaving, armour making, cooking and medicinal remedies. Fire an arrow, hold a sword or wield an axe, but never offer a challenge!

11am - 4pm (but the Castle will be open till 5pm), normal admission charges apply.
