Participatory walk. Through site-specific prompts, we will engage with concepts of Hiraeth and Y Filltir Sgwar, as well as notions of longing, belonging, and home. Through the wistful, relaxed walk, dialogues will be created with the city, within the group, and with the general public. Spontaneous interventions, invitations, and responses will appear along the route created by the walkers and members of the public.
Accessible friendly route. (1.5 hour)
Led by Jenny Alderton, a Welsh-based interdisciplinary artist who explores and engages with public space and psychogeography as well as concepts of the self and identity, (dis)connectivity and (dis)communication. Their artistic practice utilises walking, intervention, video, installation and movement.
