An exhibition by Race Council Cymru

Our Swansea, Our Stories is a community-focused project dedicated to amplifying the voices of underrepresented individuals and highlighting social injustices, particularly racial inequality.

Using storytelling, photography, and exhibitions, the project celebrates the contributions of individuals in Swansea whose different and unique efforts may be unrecognised.

The project will culminate in exhibitions hosted at two iconic cultural venues in Swansea: the Mission Gallery and the National Waterfront Museum.

These exhibitions will feature a moving collection of photographs and stories, celebrating the contributions of Swansea’s unsung heroes. Each image will include a QR code, allowing visitors to access the full stories of these unrecognised heroes on the Race Council Cymru website.

This digital feature ensures that the stories can be explored in depth, extending the impact of the exhibition beyond its physical presence.
