In land Gower is so often overlooked because of the dramatic coastline. This walk will put that straight however, and will uncover the spiritual side of the peninsular. It has clearly been a place within touching distance of heaven judging from all the ancient burial chambers and standing stones. Something not over looked by early Christian missionaries. Where ever you find fresh drinking water bubbling up through the ground you find religious connotations and stories and this place follows that familiar pattern. But throw in a rather spectacular connection to that ever enigmatic presence in Welsh early history that is King Arthur and you find something altogether more unique.
