Aber Taiko are excited to present 'Rhythm of the Dragon' showcasing their exploration of the dynamic Japanese drumming art form, Taiko.

Founded in 2015, Aber Taiko are a well-established drumming group here in Abertawe. They have been bringing 'big drum' vibes to events for over a decade, from local festivals, to large scale running events, to more prestigious venues.

Aber Taiko collaborates with leading artists and teachers from around the globe; sharing and developing skills. Whilst rooted in tradition, Taiko is a constantly evolving art form. It is a choreographed feast for the senses including movement, rhythm and melody, with limitless possibilities for interpretation and individual expression.

The exuberant, energy-filled performances immerse audiences in complex rhythms, as the massive drums create vibrations felt through the body in a manner reminiscent of the beating of the heart.
