At one of her lavish parties, celebrated Parisian courtesan Violetta meets Alfredo Germont and they fall madly in love. But their happiness is short-lived as the harsh realities of life come knocking. Filled with some of opera’s most famous melodies, director Richard Eyre’s glamorous and tender production brims with seduction and emotion, with soprano Ermonela Jaho shining as the tragic heroine Violetta.
