You've got 60 seconds to tell the world your Swansea story - what are you going to say?
Introduced by Charlotte James, join us for a screening of an eclectic selection of 60 second shorts produced by Swansea based creatives who have combined creative writing, visuals, sound and editing (using a smartphone device). With stories ranging from music and motherhood, carnivals gone by to a homage to a council estate community.


Charlotte James is a writer and director from the South Wales Valleys. Her work is rooted in the community where she grew up in—full of grit, humour, and heart—and she's passionate about telling stories that reflect the truth of working-class life. Her debut short film, Doss House, was produced by Maisie Williams under her production company RAPT, and was selected for the London Short Film Festival as part of They Call Us Working Class.


The 60 Seconds Stories - Swansea programme was developed by Ffilm Cymru Wales and led by Writer/Director Charlotte James with support from Jamie Panton (Filmmaker) and Emma Beynon (Creative Writing). Ffilm Cymru Wales is the development agency for Welsh film, dedicated to advancing and sustaining a strong film industry for Wales. his project is funded by the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund, in partnership with Swansea Council as part of the Skills for Swansea project.
