SHOW! is inspired by the work of Hofesh Shechter who quantifies his dance language as exploring the underlying principles: Energy/Emotion, Totality, Groove/Rhythm, Floorwork.

County Youth Dance Company's policy is to promote contemporary dance for students aged 13-21 from various comprehensive schools and colleges in Swansea and beyond. The aim is to create original dance works developing the dancers' skills through an educational structure involving technique and creative tasks. The Artistic Directors and practitioners working with CYDC aim to promote and support the further development of contemporary dance training, education, and performance. We are the sister Company of the West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company.
