About the bar

The Swigg is a bar, restaurant and venue in Swansea Marina.

Named after the SWIGG Buoy in the bay of Swansea (South West Inner Green Grounds). This buoy is a mark of respect for the village of Green Grounds, lost to a Tsunami in Swansea bay in 1604, with 2000 lives lost.

In keeping with our bar's name and the maritime location, we were lucky to have worked with a renowned artist, George Little in 2015. George created a bespoke, large mural for the company, reflecting the vivid colours of Trinity House and The SWIGG buoy. This is a major part of our company branding and ethos.

In recent years, The Swigg has become a music venue and re-organised itself with a stage, where local bands/artists feature five nights a week.
