Step inside Dylan Thomas’s world!

You will be greeted by your house guide and enjoy a fascinating talk about Dylan Thomas, the history and renovation of the Birthplace, and his work including the pieces he wrote in the house. There will be opportunities to ask questions and delve deep into any aspect of Dylan or the Birthplace that interests you. No prior Dylan knowledge required!

After the Introduction to Dylan Talk you will be given a visit sheet & map of the Birthplace. Uncover the rooms where Dylan Thomas lived and wrote. In each room you will find further information on the family, the house and Dylan’s incredible work. You are free to explore the Birthplace in your own time.

Your complimentary tea and Welsh cakes will be served served on vintage china in the Front Parlour after you have explored the Birthplace.

You will have unlimited time to spend in the Birthplace but please be aware that the Birthplace closes at 5pm. As a guide, an average 'Self-Guided Visit PLUS Introduction to Dylan Talk' visit lasts 1hr 30 mins.
