We welcome the festive season to Swansea in style on Sunday 22 November 2026 with our annual Christmas Parade!
Families are invited to line the streets on Sunday 22 November from 5pm as the much-loved Swansea Christmas Parade makes its return, featuring a vibrant procession of community groups, festive floats, performers and much-loved characters, all helping to kick-start the Christmas season in style.
More than 40 local organisations, schools and community groups will take part in the celebration, creating a colourful showcase of creativity, talent and festive spirit. Along the route, visitors can also expect enchanting fairytale favourites, comic book heroes, festive performers and, of course, Santa and Mrs Claus travelling aboard their magical sleigh.
Following its success in winning the Event of the Year title at the National Outdoor Events Association Awards in 2025, this year's parade will follow the exciting route that launched last year, beginning at the Guildhall where Santa will officially start proceedings with a special festive lighting display and fireworks. The parade will then travel along St Helen’s Road, through The Kingsway, across College Street, along Castle Street and Caer Street before finishing on Princess Way.
Accessibility
There will be loud noises, flashing lights and special effects throughout the Parade – if you need somewhere a bit quieter to enjoy the parade, about halfway along St Helen's Road will be the quietest place. Please be aware though that the nature of a parade means that noise and lights will be present throughout. If you have any concerns and want to discuss further, please contact us at 01792 635428. An accessible viewing area will be available at Guildhall and on the lower part of the Kingsway (St. Helen’s Road end).
No booking required, just turn up on the night. Accessible toilets and limited seating also available within the viewing areas.
