Kapitol Festivals, in collaboration with Sir Karl Jenkins, is proud to announce a landmark homecoming concert featuring an amazing performance of The Armed Man - A Mass for Peace.

To mark the 25th anniversary of this iconic work, Sir Karl Jenkins CBE has specially arranged a new brass band version, to be performed by the acclaimed Aldbourne Band, with Cor Caerdydd and world renowned soloists. The concert will be conducted by Sir Karl himself, recently voted the world's most loved living composer in Classic FM's listener poll of over 90,000 people.

Since its premiere, The Armed Man has been performed more than 3000 times worldwide and continues to move audiences with its stirring melodies, particularly the much loved Benedictus, regarded as one of the greatest melodies ever composed. The piece recently topped the Classic FM Chart, underscoring its timeless relevance and broad appeal.
