The Egypt Centre is a museum consisting of an exciting collection of Egyptian antiquities and is open to all. Nestled on the Singleton campus of Swansea University in the Taliesin building, the Egypt Centre houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in Wales and offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of this ancient civilisation. Visitors can explore a variety of items including coffins, statues, amulets, pottery, jewellery and much more. Offering public activities such as mummification demonstrations and the opportunity to handle real artefacts, the Egypt Centre can ignite the interest and curiosity of both young and old and is free to general visitors.
