Join Award winning Cinematographer and Director Theo Tennant for a Swansea premier screening of the Documentary film Frontier Town with post screening chat with Ffilm Cymru.

Frontier Town: Fairbourne's residents were told that by 2054 their village will be decommissioned and left to the sea. As scientists test coastal defences in a lab, villagers on the frontline of the climate crisis confront an uncertain future. This is a story about the people labelled the UK's first climate refugees.

Theo is a UK-Based Cinematographer and Director and is one part of a brother duo who make documentaries. In 2024, their film Frontier Town, was nominated for two BAFTA Cymru's with Theo picking up the award for Best Factual Photography.
Their new short documentary, Other Life, following two UFO investigators in and around Swansea, is about to have its US and UK premiere at Academy and BAFTA Award Qualifying festivals in November.
This project is funded by the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund, in partnership with Swansea Council as part of the Skills for Swansea project.
