Urban HQ is more than a café - it’s a welcoming, creative community hub in the heart of Swansea.

Based in the city’s former police station, this once underused building has been reimagined into a vibrant space where people come together to work, meet, eat and connect.

Run as a social enterprise by Urban Foundry, everything we do is rooted in purpose, supporting local people, independent businesses, and Swansea’s creative scene.

Our café serves freshly prepared breakfast, brunch and lunch, alongside great coffee and homemade treats, using high-quality and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. You can eat in, take away, or make the most of our fully licensed bar and enjoy a glass of something with your lunch.

Whether you’re catching up with friends, hosting a meeting, or looking for a place to work remotely, Urban HQ offers a relaxed and flexible environment with fast WiFi, plenty of space, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

Step outside and you’ll find our hidden courtyard garden - a calm, green oasis in the middle of the city, perfect for sunny days and a slower pace.

We also offer a range of spaces for hire, from small meetings to larger events, workshops and gatherings.
